The AB0310 is a carrier that can be combined with Clockworks A2B modules to make a main node of an A2B system. The AB0310 includes a Raspberry Pi Pico 40 pin socket for use with RP2040 based boards made by RPi. By adding your own controller board and software you can make standalone A2B based applications.
It's mostly intended to use with the Clockworks AB0337 AD2437 based module as the AB0310 has its B port connected to a RJ45 connector that implements Analog Devices RJ45 A2B connector definition.
AB0310 example with AB0331 (AD2437) and RP2040 Pico board. The RJ45 connector is not used in this configuration.
There are other options: The AB0331 AD2437 module with UTP connectors (2 pin DuraClik) can be used or for AD2428 development the AB0001 module. It's also possible to use the AB0331 AD2433 module with this board though that requires a little hacking to set up.
AB0310 example with AB0337 (AD2437) and RP2040 Pico board. This configuration is the typical standalone setup for RJ45 A2B.
Clockworks also makes available the current Analog Devices A2B Plug and Play stack as source code ported to the RP2040 based board. Please note this code is unsupported by Clockworks and ADI. If you need a supported stack the normal ADI A2B stack should be used.
